The WIA is the only organisation in Australia formally recognised to represent amateur radio interests at both domestic and international levels. We work closely with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) and the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) to ensure our access to the airwaves is protected. As the world’s oldest national Amateur Radio society, WIA has proudly represented radio enthusiasts since 1910.
